Provisions of the competition program for Platinum and Golden Medal

The competition is held only in the framework of the Forum "MetrolExpo" with the purpose of awarding organizations for development and manufacture of unique civil and military purpose tools and equipment.

The winners will be awarded with a medal and a respective diploma with right of use of the medal image, when marking or certifying the product. Platinum and Gold medals have only one – the highest – grade.

Platinum medal "Double purpose measuring devices" and Gold medal of the exhibition "MetrolExpo"

A company sends to the Management an application for on-site participation in the exhibition "MetrolExpo" to exhibit its products and an inquiry for participation of its products in the competitive program for Platinum Medal. An individual application is to be filled out for every type of product

A company sends an appropriate package of documents to the Management.

Decision on awarding Platinum medal is taken by the Chairman of the competition program based on the results of assessment by the Expert Commissions of Federal State Enterprise "Rostest-Moscow" and 32 Research and Development Testing Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In case of refusal to award Gold Medal, the Expert Commission gives a reasoned conclusion.

List of documents to be presented to the Management:

• Certificates, attestations, licenses, patents.
• Main technical characteristics, description and photographs.
• Peculiar characteristics and competitive advantages.

Main assessment criteria:

1. strict compliance with the state and industrial standards;
2. high metrological characteristics and quality;
3. relevance and originality of the development;
4. application range and universality of use;
5. operation reliability and convenience;
6. intuitive operation and interface;
7. service, continuing software support and upgrade;
8. production volume;
9. use of innovative technologies in manufacturing process;
10. participation in federal programs of national defense and security*;
11. application in the objects of the defense complex*;
12. military purpose products and products of technical services of power-wielding structures*;
13. long-term guarantee obligations;
14. active participation in the voluntary certification programs;
15. availability of "Quality Mark" of the program "For measuring unity";
16. availability of "Passport of high metrological production standards and quality of finished products".
